What is peer support?
Peer support is non-clinical support from someone with lived experience. Sessions are focused on being heard, understood, and supported in a respectful and practical way.
What can it help with?
Peer support may be helpful for recovery, mental health challenges, alcohol and other drug concerns, isolation, service navigation, life changes, or simply having someone alongside you while you work out your next steps.
Is it clinical therapy?
No. Peer support is not psychological therapy, medical treatment, or crisis support. It is a person-centred conversation grounded in lived experience, dignity, respect, and connection.
NDIS and funded supports
The Peer Support Hub may be suitable for people using self-managed or plan-managed funding, where peer support is consistent with their goals and funding arrangements.
Please check with your plan manager, support coordinator, or funding provider before booking if you are unsure.
Payment
Payment is completed securely online at the time of booking.
Cancellations
Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.
Important note
The Peer Support Hub is not a crisis or emergency service. Please seek urgent support if you are at immediate risk.
